We have been called to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout college
campuses. We understand that the college environment can be very confusing
and cause us to be in compromising situations. But the word of God calls
for us to seek God in all that we do and to turn our backs on sin.
Regardless of the choices that you have made in your life, God loves you and
wants you to know Him personally for yourself. He desires to forgive you.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says:
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from
heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Satan would have us to believe that "we are who we are", that God cannot
love us and that we do not deserve to be forgiven. The TRUTH is that, "God
so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"(John 3:16).
There is so much more for us than this low self-esteem, anger, confusion,
and emptiness.
Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved." If you believe that Christ did die for you and you are
ready to confess your sins to God and repent, then please pray the following
prayer:
| "Father,
I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am
truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you.
Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son,
Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and
hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign
in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey
You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
